This funny and expressive artwork depicts a footballer sunbathing by a poolside with a seemingly irritating foot appearing from nowhere. The artist was originally inspired by a media photo of Cristiano Ronaldo who had fallen asleep by a swimming pool and became sunburnt into a deep red colour.

'And It's a Foul (Sunbather)' is a unique monotype print handmade by the artist - paint is applied to stoneware with a brush, and then paper is pressed onto the surface, resulting in a unique, one of a kind print.  The process is repeated 5 times, resulting in a similar composition, but with unique brushstrokes (called a unique edition).
